Sam Hasic

Changing light globes and putting bins out for elderly customers isn’t what you’d expect from a taxi driver. But it is for these reasons, and so many more, that long-time driver Sam Hasic was recognised as Taxi Driver of the Year for 2017.

Already awarded an Order of Australia medal, Sam embodies everything a taxi driver should be. He’s always neat, professional and willing to go to great lengths to deliver outstanding service to his customers.

This is Sam's second award, previously being a joint winner in 2009 when he was still a rookie.
